Amber is the daughter of Ron and Gina Bleem of Ellis Grove. She graduated from Sparta High School in 2014 and plans to study Agriculture at SWIC in Red Bud or Belleville in the fall. Amber will use this scholarship for her fees/textbooks that are needed during her 2014-15 school year since she is receiving the Top Ten Percent Tuition Scholarship at SWIC. She would like to thank the individuals for donating to the RCFB Foundation. Without scholarships like this one, students would not have as much opportunity in an agricultural related field.
Katie is the daughter of Kent and Barbara Burns of Coulterville. She is attending Lakeland Junior College majoring in Agriculture Transfer and plans to transfer to University of Illinois to major in Agriculture Education. Katie feels that with the assistance of this scholarship, she will be able to accomplish an extremely important goal in her life of receiving a higher education and would be able to share her love of agriculture with her students as an Ag Teacher and FFA advisor. She would like to say thank you to all of those who have made contributions to this scholarship foundation. She is very appreciative of all your hard work and decision to invest in the future of students like her to better the agriculture community
Kevin is the son of Karl and Marilyn Langrehr of Red Bud. He graduated from Red Bud High School in 2014. Kevin will be attending SWIC in the fall and plans to then transfer to SIU Carbondale studying Ag Science. He feels that with the help of this scholarship, he will be able to pursue his Associate in Science Degree with less stress of financial worries and it will allow him to focus on his education in agriculture as he transfers to a four year university. Kevin would like to thank those individuals very much for donating to this foundation. It is truly an honor to receive this scholarship and he appreciates all your support in making this scholarship available for students working to achieve an education in agriculture.
Jonathan is the son of Steve and Stephanie Reinhardt of Baldwin. He graduated from Sparta High School in 2014 and plans to attend Rend Lake College in the fall, studying for Associate Degrees in Ag Production and Management, Ag Business, and Ag Mechanics. Jonathan would like to say “Thank You very much for helping me with my education” and he wants those who support the Foundation to know how much he appreciates it and how grateful he is. He has been around farming his whole life since his grandparents are farmers and studying agriculture has always been his dream. This scholarship money will help him reach his goals of being able to go to college and getting the education he needs to be successful in the agriculture field. Jonathan hopes to be able to give back to his community with his agriculture career since it has given assistance to him with his education.
Melissa is the daughter of Delbert and Kim Renner of Sparta. She is attending SEMO studying Agribusiness: Animal Science. Melissa feels that this scholarship will help her focus her attention more on her school work rather than financial aspects. This will overall help her to be the best student that she can be and to keep a high GPA. She is thankful for the scholarship, without which help she would feel extremely stressful from the financial pressures as a student
Kody is the Son of Brian and Angela Schoenbeck of Evansville. He graduated from Red Bud High School in 2014 and is planning to attend Lake Land College in the fall for an Associate of Applied Science degree in John Deere Technology. Kody feels that with the help of this scholarship, he will be able accomplish his career goals without worrying about the financial side of it. He can go wherever he wants with his education and know that he has help paying for it. Kody would like to say thank you to all the individuals who donated to this scholarship program and make it possible for all the recipients this year to receive support for their future endeavors.
Seth is the son of Terry and Shelley Shevlin of Sparta. He is attending Rend Lake College studying Ag Production and Management and feels that the scholarship will help him to complete his Associates Degree there and obtain employment in the agricultural field. Seth appreciates the generosity of the individuals who donate to the Foundation to make it possible to award scholarships to college students like him who will use the funds to complete a college degree and become a productive member of the agriculture work force.
