Amber is the daughter of Ron and Gina Bleem of Ellis Grove. She is studying Science at SWIC. Amber will use this scholarship for her books and travel costs and she will be able to focus more on her school work and less on finances. Amber would like to, from the bottom of her heart, thank everyone that donated to the scholarship which allows a certain number of students the chance to pay for the college expenses. “College is not cheap so these scholarships are a big help. Kevin is the son of Karl and Marilyn Langrehr of Red Bud. Kevin feels that he will be better able to pursue his degree in Ag business when he transfers to Southern Illinois University in the Fall of 2016 after completing his Associate in Science at Southwestern Illinois College. This scholarship will certainly ease the financial burden, and will allow him to focus on his education, rather than his expenses. Kevin feels very grateful to have received this scholarship and would like to thank the individuals who have donated to this scholarship foundation. He greatly appreciate the amount of support that this scholarship foundation has offered for students like himself pursuing a degree in agriculture.
Justin is the son of Steve and Stephanie Reinhardt of Baldwin. He graduated from Sparta High School in 2015 and plans to attend Lakeland Community College in the fall, studying for a John Deere Technician Associate Degree. Justin feels that he will be able to pursue his dream to become a John Deere Technician at Wm. Nobbe & Co. and advance his education to become a Certified John Deere Technician. He would like to say Thank you for helping him in the advancement of his education and allowing him to pursue his dream.
Kody is the Son of Brian and Angela Schoenbeck of Evansville. He is attending Lake Land College studying John Deere Technology. Kody feels that with the help of this scholarship, he will be able accomplish his career goals without worrying about the financial side of it. He can go wherever he wants with his education and know that he has help paying for it. Kody would like to say thank you to all the individuals who donated to this scholarship program and make it possible for all the recipients this year to receive support for their future endeavors.
Katie is the daughter of Kent and Barbara Burns of Coulterville. She is attending University of Illinois Champaign majoring in Agriculture Transfer. Katie feels that with the assistance of this scholarship, she will be able to accomplish an extremely important goal in her life of receiving a higher education and would be able to share her love of agriculture with her students as an Ag Teacher and FFA advisor. She would like to say thank you to all of those who have made contributions to this scholarship foundation. Jonathan is the son of Steve and Stephanie Reinhardt of Baldwin. He is studying Ag Production and Management at Rend Lake College. Jonathan would like to give a huge “Thank You” to the individuals that donate to the Foundation; it’s through their generosity that allows not only him, but other students like him, the opportunity to reach their educational goals as well as to have a bright future in agriculture. He feels that with this scholarship, he can accomplish his goal in obtaining a degree in agriculture. It helps pay for his education which is the key to his future in the agriculture field. Melissa is the daughter of Delbert and Kim Renner of Sparta. She is attending SEMO studying Agribusiness: Animal Science. Melissa feels that with this scholarship, she will be able to pay for the class she is required to take along with her internship this summer. Her internship is at the David M. Barton Agricultural Research Center in Cape Girardeau. This scholarship would help ease the financial burden.
