Jayden Auvenshine - Jayden is the son of Scott and Mary Heather Montroy of Evansville. He is studying Animal Science at SIU-C. Jayden will use this scholarship to purchase books which will get him closer to completing his goal of getting a college education and begin making his contributions to the agriculture community. Jayden says THANK YOU! It means a lot to me that there are people out there willing to help those that want to get a degree and fulfill their dreams
Amber Bleem - Amber is the daughter of Ron and Gina Bleem of Ellis Grove. She has studied Science at SWIC for two years and will transfer to SIU-C in the fall majoring in Animal Science. Amber will use this scholarship for her tuition, books, and fees there. Amber would like to thank the individuals who donated to the Foundation Scholarship. She feels that this scholarship allows a number of college students in our area the chance to finance their college education with the help from donators such as yourselves.
Katie Burns - Katie is the daughter of Kent and Barbara Burns of Coulterville. She is attending University of Illinois Champaign majoring in Agricultural Leadership Science Education and minoring in Animal Science. Katie feels that with the assistance of this scholarship, she will be able to accomplish her ultimate goal of informing people about agriculture and the affect that it has on their lives also it will allow her to share her passion and inform the public the truth about where their food actually comes from. She is very appreciative of all of the hard work put forth by the donors to this scholarship program. Thank you for making the decision to invest in students like myself to better the agriculture industry.
Hadley Ehlers - Hadley is the son of Leslie and Diane Ehlers of Campbell Hill. He is a 2016 graduate of Trico High School and plans to go into Dairy Science at Kaskaskia Junior College. Hadley feels that he will be able to accomplish his lifelong dream of owning his own farm and dirt working/moving business and this scholarship will help him save back his own money to start his farm after college. He can’t thank the Foundation enough for giving him the opportunity to actually be able to see his dream come true on the horizon.
Hannah Ehlers - Hannah is the daughter of Leslie and Diane Ehlers of Campbell Hill. She is a 2016 graduate of Trico High School and plans to go to Kaskaskia Junior College. Hannah plans to become a Veterinarian. Receiving this scholarship will take her one step closer to that goal and to help her continue a career in a field that she is so deeply passionate about. Hannah is truly thankful for the help to continue her involvement in the agriculture field.
Bobbie Lake - Bobbie of Sparta High, is studying for her Associates degree in Science at Frontier Community College in Fairfield, and plans to continue at SEMO after Frontier. Bobbie would like to say thank you to all the individuals who donate to this foundation to help with the scholarship activities. It will help not only her, but others who received this scholarship to put forth towards their education and their future goals they hope to accomplish.
Kevin Langrehr - Kevin is the son of Karl and Marilyn Langrehr of Red Bud. Kevin is in his last semester at Southwestern Illinois College and transferring to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in the Fall of 2016 where he will pursue his Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Systems. Kevin feels that with the help of this scholarship, he will be able to focus his attention more on his education and less on his college expenses. He would like to thank those individuals very much for donating to this foundation. It is truly an honor to receive this scholarship and he appreciates all your support in making this scholarship available for students working to achieve an education in agriculture.
Justin Reinhardt - Justin is the son of Steve and Stephanie Reinhardt of Baldwin. His major is John Deere Ag Technician at Lakeland Community College. Justin feels that the scholarship will allow him to complete his program at Lakeland and to do his best in all his classes. He is currently on the President’s List there. Justin wants to say “Thank You” to everyone for the financial assistance that they have given to him. He appreciates the assistance because it allows him to concentrate on his class work so that he can be the best student possible.
