Amber Bleem-Amber is the daughter of Ron and Gina Bleem of Ellis Grove. She has studied science at SWIC for two years and is now attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is majoring in Animal Science, specializing in Pre-Veterinarian Medicine. With the help of this scholarship, Amber can aim toward finishing her senior year of college and receiving her Bachelor's Degree. This scholarship will be used for tuition, books, and fees as she finishes her college career. Amber would like to sincerely than the individuals who donated to the Foundation. Without these donors, students like herself, majoring in agriculture related fields, would not have the same opportunities. This scholarship allows a number of college students in our area the chance to finance their college education, with the help of these individuals.
Kelby Burns-Kelby is the son of Kent and Barbara Burns of Coulterville. He will be a 2017 graduate from Sparta High School and will attend Rend Lake College in the fall, studying Agricultural/diesel/heavy equipment mechanics. Kelby feels that with this scholarship, he will be able to achieve an associate degree in Agricultural Mechanics and certificates in diesel mechanics and heavy equipment. It will help pay for his college tuition, which he can take wit him into the workforce. Kelby would like to thank all of the individuals that have donated to the Foundation. This scholarship has helped reduce the cost of college for him. It has made it easier for him to achieve a goal that he had set since he was little.
Jenna Inman-Jenna is the daughter of John Inman of Ellis Grove and Sue Steinmann of Edwardsville. She is a 2015 graduate of Edwardsville High School and currently attends Murray State. With this scholarship,Jenna will be able to take more classes within her field of study. These classes will help to strengthen her skills and make her more marketable for future employers. Jenna is thankful for the scholarship and to all who support this Foundation! Education is something that is important to her, and thanks to the Foundation she will be able to further her education and gain knowledge and skills that she will need when she enters her field.
Bobbie Lake-Bobbie studied science at Frontier Community College in Fairfield. She now attends Southeast Missouri University and majors in Agribusiness/Animal Science. She would like to thank the individuals who donated to the Foundation. Without them she wouldn't be able to expierience the opportunities that she has with this scholarship.
Kevin Langrehr-Kevin is the son of Karl and Marilyn Langrehr of Red Bud. Kevin is pursuing a degree at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Agricultural Systems Production Management, with a minor in Agricultural Business and Economics. He is very grateful to have received this scholarship. It will certainly ease the financial burden and allow him to focus on his education, rather than his expenses.
